We are so glad you're here.
Welcome to Substance Moms! We are a community of women who drop pretenses and come as we are – imperfect, messy, but also hopeful and with purpose. Our mission is to connect women who are looking for mom-friends and want to grow spiritually, as we truly believe that in order to parent well, we need God’s wisdom and the encouragement from other moms. If this resonates with you, we would love to connect with you more!

Northtown Moms meets on Wednesday mornings, September through May at the Northtown Campus. The morning consists of a casual brunch and socializing, speaker, discussion and prayer time. Childcare is available for infants through preschool ($2 per child). However, due to COVID-19 this will likely be changing. Subscribe to our blog and our facebook page to receive more information.
Gather Groups are small groups that meet in women’s homes (or virtually) every other week throughout the Twin Cities. Gather Groups listen to a podcast and then come together to discuss the week’s topic with other moms who are in a similar stage of life. For more information, check out the Substance Church Small Group Guide.
Working Moms is a subgroup with the heart to empower working moms to grow in their faith and find community with other working mamas. Working Moms meets virtually or in Minneapolis (childcare is available) every other Saturday from 9-11am. To learn more, join our Facebook group, Working Moms at Substance Church.
Single Moms are welcomed and encouraged to join any of our moms groups; however, if you are single and looking to connect with other solo mamas, you’ll find us meeting over zoom when our kids are in bed, or in person in a variety of ways. For more info, check out the Substance Church Small Group Guide and follow us on our Substance Moms Facebook page.
